Microsoft's Xbox 360 product management director, Aaron Greenberg, has said the Xbox 360 doubled in sales during the Thanksgiving week.

Greenberg Tweeted: "Great #BlackFriday results just in, biggest sales week of the year for #Xbox360, more than 2xs previous week sales"

The huge discounts provided in black Friday is the reason behind the huge amount of sales. According to NPD figures, the 360 averaged around 65,000 console sales per week. Which means over 130,000 units sold during black friday.

Microsoft will hopefully release the exact numbers soon.

EA has said FIFA 10 has sold over 4.5 million copies worldwide in addition to becoming the fastest selling sports game ever made. FIFA 10 was launched on the 1st of October in Australia followed by 2nd in Europe and the 20th in North America. Very impressive figures.

EA recently announced the first DLC for FIFA 10 named 'FIFA 10 Ultimate Team'. This will be released on the Playstation Network and Xbox Live.

Dante's Inferno, the upcoming third person action-adventure game, is set for release on February 9, 2010 for Xbox 360, Playstation 3 and PSP. The developers - Visceral Games has today announced the official dates of the Dante's Inferno demo.

The Dante's Inferno Gates to Hell demo will be available to Playstation 3 owners from December 10. The Xbox 360 will receive it's demo on Christmas eve.  EA has said nothing about a demo for the PSP so far. The long awaited demo will give us the chance to play the first level of Dante's Inferno which will hopefully give a good impression of the game.

Another new L4D2 update has been released which will be applied once you start up / restart steam.

The update:

• Fixed case where game failed to launch in certain machine configurations
• Fixed bug where a burning witch could get into a state where she's invincible
• Fixed bug where bots would not shoot at Jockeys and Chargers while approaching to save a teammate

It seems that someone has put in the effort to run the New Super Mario Bros. Wii in 1080p off of the Dolphin Emulator. It will take some hefty specs to run this game emulated to this quality. Take a look for yourselves.

Amazon Germany has listed Yakuza 3 at the price of USD $94. The release date is March 2010.

Ry? ga Gotoku 3 or Yakuza 3 as known outside of Japan is available on Playstation 3 and developed + published by Sega. The Japanese version of the game was released on February 26, 2009 with an English version yet to be released.
